As we step into the new year, we embrace a time of fresh starts and new adventures. I’m filled with excitement as I share the plans I have for the year ahead. Declaring my New Year’s resolutions out loud, I’m more determined than ever to stick to them!

I’m currently working on the next book in the Adventures of Alexia and Phoebe series. One of my resolutions is to see this book published. With so many ideas to pack into roughly 30 pages, it’s quite a delightful challenge. In this upcoming adventure, our beloved characters will venture to new and distant lands. Picture them playing familiar games in extraordinary settings and meeting exotic animals like elephants, giraffes, and maybe even lion cubs. While a zoo adventure would be charming, I’m pondering an even more exciting destination for Alexia and Phoebe. Can you guess where they might be headed? It’s thrilling to think of anything surpassing their encounter with the Unicorn of the North!

To all the coloring enthusiasts out there, I have exciting news for you too! The ‘Christmas Series’ was just the start. Last year’s creative experiments were incredibly enlightening, and I’m eager to share the discoveries and stories from this journey. For instance, revisiting wax crayons as an adult brought its own set of surprises. Did you also return to a childhood hobby recently? I’d love to hear about your experiences!

Another resolution for the year is to publish a new coloring book. I’ve just received the images from a local printing house and am about to start testing them. My fingers are crossed that they’re as enjoyable to color as I imagine. The book still needs a title, and I’m brainstorming for the perfect one. Soon, you’ll get a sneak peek of the images, and I absolutely welcome your feedback on them. Your thoughts and suggestions are invaluable and play a significant part in our shared creative journey.

These two resolutions seem plenty to focus on for now. What about you? Have you set any goals for the new year?

Wishing you all a creative and joyful New Year!
